(John 3:16) states that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever “BELIEVES IN HIM” should not perish but have everlasting life.
** Since the fall of man (Gen. 3), humanity has been since separated by God. Man had no way to be reconciled back to God no matter how many sacrifices, offerings, and prayers they made unto God. The works of man were always external and unable to transform his heart and mind. (Romans 3:20) states: Therefore, by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified(made righteous) in His sight, for the law is the knowledge of sin. The only thing the law was good for was to show man his own wickedness, to reveal his sin, and it left no way out for the people until Jesus Christ came to fulfill the law and provide salvation, (Gal. 3:19-26).
(Romans 5:8) - But God demonstrates His love toward humanity in that while we were still sinners, it was His Son, Jesus Christ who died for us. In other words, God is giving humanity an opportunity to be reconciled and saved through His only begotten Son. Every person is offered the free gift of grace, and the choice must be made if we are to believe, receive, and follow Jesus Christ or not. (Romans 3:23-26) - tells us that all of humanity (everyone of us) has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but we can be JUSTIFIED (made righteous) by His grace, through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ whom God sent forward as a PROPITIATION by His blood, through FAITH, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God has passed over the sins that were previously committed to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be Just and the Justifier of the one who has FAITH IN JESUS.
So let me ask you dear man or woman who is reading this: Are you eternally saved? Have you BELIEVED and RECEIVED the free gift of grace that Jesus Christ offers everyone? Salvation is a free gift of grace, it cannot be earned. Jesus Christ paid the entire price, offering Himself as the once and only atoning sacrifice and today He continues to offer salvation to us. (Ephesians 2:8-9) For by grace you have been saved through FAITH, and that not of yourselves; it is the Gift of God, NOT OF WORKS, lest anyone should boast.
(Romans 10:8-11) - Gives us the key to attaining this free gift of grace. But what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is the word of faith we preach): that if you CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH the Lord Jesus and BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART that God has raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED! For with the heart one believes unto RIGHTEOUSNESS, and with the mouth confession is made unto SALVATION. For the scriptures says, Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.
Jesus Christ offers eternal life to all who will put their FAITH in Him. There is a life beyond the natural once we part from this world. (Hebrews 9:27) shows that it is the plan that ALL MEN DIE ONCE and after, judgement. When we die our body returns back to the dust and our spirit returns back to God whom gave it, but where will our soul spend eternity, (Ecclesiastes 12:7)? We must ask ourselves - Where will my soul spend eternity when we pass on from this natural world?
Jesus Christ is offering to make us righteous- (Justified before the Father) by forgiving our sins, and reconciling us back to Him so that we may receive eternal life. Jesus provides eternal security for our soul. There is no one else, or no other work we can do of our own to merit salvation. We must by FAITH believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ, repent from our sins, confess that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, to be saved.
Salvation is acquired by our willingness to believe and receive.
So, if you want to secure your eternal passport, and receive salvation today, it's as simple as a prayer. Repeat this prayer - Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I believe You died on the cross for my sins, and that You were raised on the third day. I believe in You. I believe that through Your sacrifice at the cross of calvary, I have redemption and forgiveness of sins so that I may be justified before the Father. I ask for You to forgive all my sins and wash me with Your precious blood. I turn away from my sins and choose to follow You as my Lord and Savior. Be the Lord of my life and seal me with Your Holy Spirit. Quicken my spirit now and write my name in the book of eternal life. Thank you Jesus for this free gift of grace. I believe and receive in Your name, amen.
